2. Description of Services
Bap! provides a multi-sided platform connecting local independent service providers (such as landscapers, barbers, food trucks, and other professionals) with clients. Our platform enables users to:
- Create Profiles & Listings: Service providers can post portfolio photos, descriptions, business hours, services, and products.
- Schedule Appointments: Clients can browse listings, book appointments, and manage schedules with service providers.
- Direct Messaging: Users can communicate directly through our in-app chat system to coordinate logistics, details, and special requests.
- Process Payments: Secure transactions for bookings, services, and products handled via our third-party payment partners.
3. Account Registration & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register an account and use our services. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your credentials secure. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Content & Portfolio Guidelines
Users, particularly service providers, may upload portfolio photos, text, pricing, brand names, and other content ("User Content") to the platform.
- Ownership: You retain ownership of the User Content you post, but you grant Bap! a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, host, and promote your content within the app and marketing materials.
- Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload content that is misleading, fraudulent, sexually explicit, defamatory, harassing, or infringing upon any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Removal: We reserve the right to remove or disable any User Content at our discretion if it violates these Terms or applicable laws.
5. Bookings, Cancellations, & Payments
Transactions completed through Bap! are subject to the following rules:
- Pricing & Fees: Service providers set their own prices for services and products. Bap! may charge service fees, booking fees, or subscription fees, which will be disclosed prior to purchase.
- Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellation policies are set by individual service providers or standard platform guidelines. Review cancellation terms carefully before confirming any appointment or purchase.
- Independent Provider Relationship: Service providers operate as independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Bap!. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or fulfillment of the services provided.
6. User Conduct & In-App Chat
Our in-app chat and review systems are designed to facilitate smooth communication between clients and service providers. You agree not to use the messaging system to:
- Send spam, unsolicited promotional material, or malicious links.
- Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to bypass platform payment systems to evade fees.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, design elements, graphics, text, logos, and trademarks associated with Bap! are the exclusive property of the company. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform without express written permission.
8. Termination of Account
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms of Service. You may also close your account at any time by contacting our support team.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Bap! does not guarantee the reliability, quality, or safety of any service provider's work (whether landscaping, barbering, food trucks, or otherwise). To the maximum extent permitted by law,Bap! shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When updates occur, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our platform after changes are published constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated terms.
